Macro apertures
Test 1 checks basic Extended Gerber aperture macros without parameters.
This technical archive preserves comparative PCB CAM import tests for Extended Gerber files, including standard macro apertures, parameterized aperture macros and representative Gerber geometry.
RS-274X carries PCB image geometry through flashes, draws, regions and aperture definitions. Correct interpretation of aperture macros is especially important because one compact definition may generate repeated, rotated or parameterized geometry throughout a design.
Test 1 checks basic Extended Gerber aperture macros without parameters.
Tests 2 and 3 use two Gerber examples to compare imported geometry and generated isolation paths.
Test 4 exercises more than 25 parameterized macro apertures and is the most demanding file in the preserved set.
The original files used for the archived comparison remain available for independent inspection and import testing.

The preserved test set includes macro apertures, parameterized macro apertures and simple Gerber examples used to verify import and output quality.
Each application was given the corresponding Gerber input and the visible imported geometry or generated isolation result was captured. The downloadable files above allow the same inputs to be examined independently.
