TELENET LTD., UIC 103129695, VAT BG103129695, kv. Chaika 34, B, ap. 46, 9010 Varna, Bulgaria. Contact: support@telenet-eu.com.
Data and purposes
We process contact details and correspondence to answer enquiries; customer, company, billing, shipping and tax details to prepare and perform sales; PayPal payer and transaction information to verify payments and prevent fraud; order, activation-key, licence and hashed hardware-component information to deliver, support and protect software licences; and security records such as IP address, timestamps and audit events to protect the service.
Manual Check for updates
When the user explicitly selects Check for updates, PhCNC LSSE may send the product edition, x86/x64 architecture, installed version and build, and license number. PhCNC LSSE HD may also send the USB dongle serial number when available. The request also records the request time, country determined from the network address, and an IP address masked before storage. Only the first two IPv4 octets are retained (for example, 93.152.xxx.xxx); IPv6 addresses are reduced to a /64 network prefix. Update-check records are retained for up to 180 days.
The application performs this request only when the user initiates Check for updates. The information is used to report whether a newer public version exists, return the appropriate product download page and verify the manually administered status of the license. Internal administrative status reasons are not returned to the application.
Website measurement
First-party website statistics record visited pages, download-link clicks, device category, operating system, browser and version, screen size, language, country when supplied by the hosting platform, and an IP address masked before storage. Only the first two IPv4 octets are retained (for example, 93.152.xxx.xxx); IPv6 addresses are reduced to a /64 network prefix. The statistics do not use a persistent visitor identifier and are retained for up to 180 days.
Legal grounds
Processing is based, as applicable, on steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with accounting and tax obligations, and our legitimate interests in service security, fraud prevention, software support and legal claims. Purchase data is not used for newsletter marketing without separate consent.
Recipients and external services
Data may be processed by our hosting and email providers, PayPal as payment provider, the EU VIES service when a VAT number is checked, and professional accounting or legal advisers where necessary. These providers operate under their own privacy terms and applicable transfer safeguards.
Retention
Encrypted full customer IP addresses are configured for a 90-day retention period. Orders, payment and invoice records are retained for periods required by accounting and tax law. Licence and activation records are retained for the licence lifecycle and a reasonable period needed for support, fraud prevention and legal claims. Hosting access logs are controlled by the hosting provider and may have separate retention periods.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, restriction, portability or deletion where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection. Some financial records cannot be erased while statutory retention duties apply. Send requests to support@telenet-eu.com; identity verification may be required.
